Goal of the Action Days
The Joint Action for Sustainable Development community is active all year round - no question about it. However, the goal of the Action Days is to make exemplary commitment visible throughout Germany within a certain period of time, to attract public attention to the topic of sustainability, and to encourage more people to act sustainably. Everyone can change something for the better! The more people participate, the stronger the signal we send out together with the Action Days.
And this signal is sent out internationally: Since 2015, the Action Days have been part of the European Sustainable Development Week, an initiative launched by Germany, France and Austria in which people from all over Europe can participate. By participating in the German Sustainability Action Days, you automatically take part in the European Sustainable Development Week as well - without any additional effort for you as participants.
That is why our slogan is “Every action counts — together we make a difference.”
#gemeinsamfuermorgen
Actions for sustainability attract more attention if as many people as possible participate. That is why we focus on networking and cooperation with other actors in the field of sustainability. With the #gemeinsamfuermorgen campaign, we are working with our partners to ensure that sustainable action ideas are implemented and noticed.
Each #gemeinsamfuermorgen partner is calling for more commitment again this year during a campaign period that overlaps with the German Sustainability Action Days (18 September to 08 October). In this joint action period, we are collecting our plans, your ideas, actions, challenges and events under the hashtag #gemeinsamfuermorgen. Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn!
